I’m an everything person. A Renaissance girl. I’m a criminal hobbyist: painting, photography, drawing, singing, cooking, planting, writing, dancing, I do it all. I can only knit scarves, and I like to drink tea. I love aquariums, but I hate zoos. I don’t eat any animals that live in water. I lean on sarcasm like it’s a crutch, but I will always have a kind word to say. I’m an art history and English double major at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, but my Jersey roots run deep. My favorite city in the world is Prague. I love old, falling down, crumbly ruins, especially barns. When I was growing up I wanted to be an entomologist. Now I want to be a good person. I wear vintage clothing, and practically live in antique shops. I really love each season and every distinct offering provided by them. My middle name is Elise and my astrological sign is Cancer. My birthday is June 26. My favorite band is Arcade Fire, my favorite musician is Joanna Newsom. I watch Wes Anderson movies too often and still tie my shoelaces with bunny ears. I always double knot. I wear glasses, not contacts. I talk a lot, and follow tangents south for the winter. I wish I could fit in a nutshell and store my knowledge in a cubbyhole. I love the works of Beatrix Potter. I would rather be writing this on my typewriter. Sometimes I go fishing, but I hate catching things. When I roast marshmallows, I light them on fire intentionally. I speak French poorly and Pig Latin fluently. I’m bad at endings.
